DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Before You Begin:
With experience, most pet owners find they can completely bathe their pets in under three minutes. The amount of time it takes will vary, however, depending on the size of the animal, coat thickness and length, and amount of dirt needed to be removed.
This device is designed to work inside or outside of your home. However, your pet will enjoy the bath more if you are able to use warm water - most outdoor faucets emit cold water only.
In order for the device to work properly, use a water source with a flow rate that exceeds 3 gallons per minute. The vast majority of homes meet or exceed this requirement both in the shower and at an outside water faucet. Building codes limit the amount of water pressure to sinks; therefore, the RapidBath system is not designed for use at standard kitchen or bathroom sinks.
Installation:
To use the RapidBath system outside, attach the RapidBath unit directly to the end of a garden hose 50 feet or shorter. The included RapidBath hose can be used in place of a garden hose, as described in the indoor use instructions below.
To use the RapidBath system inside, carefully remove your current shower head. Then:
The included diverter is designed to fit virtually all standard shower pipes. If the diverter does not fit your home's shower pipe, an adaptor can be purchased inexpensively at a local home improvement store. When attaching the adaptor, consider using Teflon® tape to ensure a watertight seal.
Reattach your shower head.
Attach the included RapidBath hose to the diverter.
Attach the RapidBath unit to the other end of the hose.
Insert Shampoo Cartridge Into Unit:
Open the handle of the RapidBath unit.
Insert the shampoo cartridge into the unit. Snap the cartridge onto the shampoo draw (intake) tube.
Close the RapidBath unit handle.
Safety Procedures
Never aim or spray directly into your animal's face, eyes, mouth, or nose.
Avoid getting water into your pet's ears.
Do not use the RapidBath bathing system on animals that are pregnant, nursing, or under 12 weeks old without first consulting with your veterinarian.
Leave empty shampoo cartridges on the shampoo draw (intake) tube until you are ready to replace. Should you have any problems with the shampoo congealing due to exposure to the air, submerge the entire unit in warm water until the shampoo dissolves.
